Northern Lights Workshops
The Aurora Borealis is an amazing light show that is on many people's top-ten things to see list.
The northern lights depend on both earth weather and space weather to ensure a good view. They are always occurring, but at different strengths according to the sun's cycle. They can be predicted with relative accuracy if a sun spot (solar storm) is observed. There are several other scientific instruments which can measure the incidence of solar activity and magnetic storms around the earth.
They are often clearly visible from Iceland if the conditions are right!
As they cannot be guaranteed, we are running workshops which work around your availability whilst you are in Iceland.
Tony's Aurora tours will be offered free to customers who book a day tour with Tony and will take place during your stay if conditions are right...

Use the Reservation function and choose Northern Lights Workshops and let us know the dates when you are available from and until. Workshops start in the evening around 22.00.
The workshops are entirely dependent on good weather and a good chance of an Aurora Storm. If your reservation is successful, you will be contacted if and when the conditions are right. The duration is normally from 3-5 hours.
