This was a beautiful evening in August. If you can catch an August sunset at the lagoon, it is worth pulling out all the stops. The huge chunks of ice always make an interesting foreground. And this was all fairly comfortably captured from a spot comfortably near the car park. The exposure was controlled with my magic cloth (or sleeve as it happened) over a 3 second shutter, I managed to burn the sky and had a little time to dodge the ice.
