Reynisfjara back sand beach
This video was created as I walked slowly along the beach toward the famous Reynisdrangar sea stacks. My camera was mounted on my tripod which I was holding upside down very close to the sand. This gives the video an intimate perspective on the black sand beach. I was deliberately trying to follow the line where the waves were gently caressing the beach. The video was shot on a Canon 5D2.
I wasn’t really happy with the jerky quality but after rendering it black and white with some noise I think it has some artistic quality. The video certainly has a few views on YouTube, so it can’t be that bad.
The music was created by me!
