North Iceland can be an epic geological adventure in the long, Icelandic summer nights. This fumarole was venting steam under a sky of giant lenticular clouds as the sun began to set. Now, you don’t see that every day!

These weird, volcanic landscape seem to feel perfectly normal with a red alien sky above. This was planet Earth, I promise!
