This absolute sweetie was taken back in September 2014. For ages I had wanted the soft creamy peach sky and this time I new where I wanted to go. This little ledge is a precarious spot right at the top of one of the falls. It has this beautiful little rockery lining the edge of the ledge and it always offers pleasant surprises. It is a challenge working this wedge of rockery into my 24mm frame because there is barely room to stand. Tripod on the lowest possible setting and somehow set back away from the edge is the only way to do it, but it gives very little opportunity for me to actually look through the lens.
This waterfall is possible on a North Iceland tour.
