Bolungarvik on Canvas
£39.50 – £81.50 inc. VAT
Behind me is the tiny harbour town of Bolungarvik in the Westfjords of Iceland. This is literally the edge of the civilised world because ahead of me there is only Greenland, the Arctic Ocean and then Siberia. The land mass across the water was abandonded many years ago and is now a National park called Hornstrandir. I love Summer evenings here because the sunset is endless until it fades and become the sunrise. This can go on for hours. I love the textures and details in the rocks and green weed. On canvas, this photo is a real eye-catcher.
The Northern side of the Westfjords, encompassing Ísafjarðardjup, has numerous superb scenic nature locations like the beach at Bolungarvik and the tranquil Hestafjord. Additionally the fishing town of Ísafjörður and the black magic town of Holmavik are worth a visit.
A beautiful coastal scene on a canvas print is a souvenir of Iceland. Green ocean stones with a fabulous dusk tones over the colossal Icelandic fjord on Canvas will be extraordinary in any space. This canvas print can be hung in any space to add a touch of Iceland and some coastal scenes to your inside plan. Offer this canvas print to your visitors for a stylistic Nature theme. A natural landscape canvas print is exceptionally collectable and would make an nice present for any collector who adores the sensational beauty of Iceland’s Westfjords.
